Best if considered as a poorly preassembled kit.

The basic concept is that, when driven by a signal into 'Input', a receiver connected to 'OUT' should receive substantially different signals based on differences between 'REF' and 'DUT', which should be nominally symmetric. That is NOT the case for the device received. In attached plots, yellow trace is log magnitude return to VNA TX port, and blue trace is log magnitude signal received by VNA RX port for 104kHz to 1.975MHz. First plot is with 50 Ohm REF and 50 Ohm DUT. Second is with 50 Ohm REF and open DUT Third is with open REF and DUT Last is with open REF and 50 Ohm DUT In case traces get scrambled, blue trace mostly depends on REF, independent of whether or not matching DUT, so far from ideal. These results suggest wrong or poor soldering and/or components.

Did not work

The quality of construction seems good, but the item did not work (about one dB difference between a good 50 Ohms load and an open at the DUT port!). Visual investigation did not help to track the issue.
