PRO MAG MAGAZINE MODEL COL 04N
I purchased two Pro Mag magazines model COL 04N one on Ebay from Source One Outdoors, and another @ Academy Sports, neither one functioned in my Colt Gold Cup National Match MK IV/Series 80 .45 ACP. The bullets would bury themselves ‘nose down’ into the top of the magazine, the bullet itself was slightly angled downward and did not have enough spring tension to have them point upward enough to maintain a proper feeding angle into the ramp, and there is a gap between the first and second round at the front or ‘bullet’ of about 3/16" from each other. The only way I was able to have the two magazines function, was to load just seven of the ten rounds, and even then they worked intermittently. The .45 that I have has never had, nor has a feeding issue with a multitude of ammunition or magazines. I returned the one Mag to Academy Sports with no issues. However, Ebay, Source One Outdoors, and Pro Mag - even though they all give you their “Guarantee” left me no other recourse than to dispute the charge with my credit card company. I have attached a picture that clearly shows the Pro Mag magazine’s opening is slightly smaller than the original Colt mags, and a too weak magazine spring is the issue with this model Pro Mag Magazine.

Not compatible with Ruger SR1911
First I'd like to say this poor review has nothing to do with the seller. Seller is 5 star!!! Also I have only ran this through a ruger sr1911 with 230gr hard ball ammo. As far as the magazine goes, it does don't feed rounds into the chamber at the correct angle. It is far to steep which makes the round hit the top of the chamber making it jam. Also the black polymer extension cover is not attached to the magazine and just slides around. If you remove the cover then the magazine over seats past the mag release and again jams your gun. Again I have only ran this on a ruger sr1911 running 230gr hard ball ammo.

Grip extension prevents insertion if using a magazine well
these seem to be well made magazines. i've used promags in my ruger P-95 and haven't had any issues. the problem with this magazine: if you're using a magazine well, the grip extension prevents the mag from being fully inserted. other than that, it seems to work fine if you remove grip extension in the pics included, you can see the chip mccormick grip extension is chamfered and fits nicely in the magazine well. i suppose i could return these...or buy a 1911 that will accommodate these mags ;)

Two Mags
Great price, great product, but it is a bit fickle with my Colt 1911. Made the gun jam several times.
