Very good is appropriate
The glossy black finish looks to have permanent smudges on it almost like a lighter got to close to it on several spots. But it works extremely well and even though the one that I received didn't have the second stainless grate but the default Non Stick grate will suffice for most grilling items. Is it worth the $80 I paid for it? Absolutely.

Less smoke, not smoke less.
Very good product, at least for steaks. But any fat in the meat will smoke a little, so turn on a fan or open a window to avoid setting off smoke alarms. But you get nice grill marks, quickly gets up to temp and cleans up well (except the clear lens area will brown over time, not sure if it effects cooking yet)

Pros: Easy to use Easy to clean but you need to have a glass/ceramic scraper to clean the inside Easy to operate (it's just OFF, HEAT and COOK) Cons: Too bright because it's always indoors (wear sunglasses while flipping food) Too small for a big family

does a good job on both steaks and crablegs, I do wish it was hotter for a better sear on the steaks. cleanup was easy as drip tray slides out, but grease and debris needs to wiped off quickly after cooling or it stains the interior surfaces
