The product arrived quickly and was as described. It works very well and I have had no problems with it. It has a very low setting which worked great for my doberman puppy. No need to shock. Vibrate is only on 2 of the 100 scale setting. The only thing I would want changed is for the transmitter to be rubberized and waterproof. Very versatile in training. Can use the beep to call your dog with out yelling etc....

The Good: It keeps a charge ( I've only charged it once), The hand held device is easy to operate and read the screen, the plastic collar works, There is a variety of training tools incorporated into the system; meaning you can choose a beep, vibrate or shock to signal unwanted behavior. The Bad: There should be a lock on the button or a sequence of buttons in order to activate a shock, once I had it in my pocket and another time on my waist and accidentally administered a shock to my poor unsuspecting behaving dog. Since then I am extremely careful and have put it higher up . If you keep it on vibrate it can be easily switched over when a shock is intended. I use a 12-19 out of 100 level for the shock and it is plenty for my Pitbull mix. The other disappointing thing is that the clip designed to clip on shirt pockets etc. has no spring to make it open and close and does not stay on anything I clip it on. I put up with it falling out of my shirt pocket for some time and recently attached a thick rubber band through the hole in the clip and wore it on my wrist. This works but I would much rather have one clipped. I gave it "3 yes's" because for what I paid for it I am grateful to have been able to get through to my dog. Now he knows I mean business whereas he had been let go so long before he did not take me seriously, he is still high energy and bounces around but he knows there is a consequence to not listening.Read full review

I am, so far, very happy with the design of the collar and remote handset. I especially like that you can do either vibrate OR static corrections with this set, AND can adjust the level of stimulation, immediately, for each. My only complaint is that the slide on clip is NOT useful. It does not grab either a collar, belt, or pocket, to any real degree. It slips off easily and drops to the ground, to be either lost or damaged. It would be better to design a stronger spring clip or clamp that is stronger. Because it continues to fall from where it is clipped, I am forced to hold it in my hand continually. Giving the dog a visual cue that I have control handy. It is more useful for the dog no not be able to connect such an association. Putting it in my pocket results in a possible inadvertent correction to the dog unnecessarily. Although I like many aspects of this product, and being a professional dog trainer, it would be nice to be able to recommend an affordable, good quality product. But because of the handset clip, I hesitate to do so. If this design was addressed, I would recommend it.Read full review

I bought this to help stop 4 bad behaviors in my dog. He was pulling, demand barking, running out the door, and digging up the yard. He a is 65 pound Catahoula Leopard Dog. We have used it for 1 week today and he is already a changed dog. He has only had to be shocked twice on the lowest setting and he has been vibrated multiple times. He seen a squirrel while my daughter was holding the leash and jolted off on 1 occasion and he was trying to fight the leaf blower on another. Both times after being shocked he ran right back to our side. This is a dog that 1 week ago we would chase around the neighborhood at least once a day usually more. Now we can walk him around the block without a leash and he stays right by our side. Don't think that you can get a shock collar and its going to do all the work for you tho. Watch YouTube videos on how to properly train using one!!! If not you can actually have the opposite effect that you are trying to achieve if you go at this blindly. The product works great and stays charged for days. Read full review

I have had the collar only a few days and so far it has met every expectation. We had a more expensive name brand training collar before this one which my dog somehow removed and chewed to oblivion. Rather than spend over $150 to replace it I wanted to try out a cheaper alternative in the likely event he ruins another one in the future. He had already been familiar with a training collar so going to this one was no problem. I like having a beep tone as well as a vibrate warning before having to go with a full on shock. I have so far only had the use the warning tone which is nice and loud on this collar and the pup recognizes it right away. It seems to have decent distance, have not tested the claimed 330 yards yet though. For the price it is a great unit with nice features. The more expensive one we had before was much more robust but I didnt expect this to be built the same for 1/5th the price, with that said it is built well, surprisingly well for the money honestly. Have not tested the waterproof ability yet as we dont live near water but it looks like it should be fine to get wet without issue. Battery life seems good so far, going on several days without a recharge but we dont use it all day either. Overall I am so far satisfied with it, I would recommend this to anyone who wants an inexpensive training collar but I dont expect it to last for years like the other one we had.Read full review
