working in a lab is not appropriate to be looking at your phone all the time. This watch is perfect! I can set it up so it will notify me of strictly emails and text during work. I like that I only have to charge it on the weekends it last about 7 days with a full charge. and its so durable I bang this watch everywhere and no scratches. also what I like about this watch is I can replace the wristband with any standard wristband I don't have to buy a manufacture pebble band like other watches (saves you money ) . the only con is I have old eyes and use bifocals (1.25power) to see the text but I use bifocals at work anyways so no issues. but when I use the watch outside of work I have to look at the phone when I get a notification from the phone. I'm waiting for pebbles to make a Invicta like ( large face) watch for old eyes. Read full review

Always had pebbles (steel, time and now time steel) and made an attempt to like gear s2. Did that for a few months and right back to pebble. No fiddling, or touchscreen. Just a straightforward watch that lets you know everything you need to know. Quite beautifully designed and despite no longer being produced, rebble.io keeps these clicking along with no issues. Love the dictation function to quickly reply to texts when I'm driving. Eyes on the road. Can absolutely recommend these over anything either Samsung or Apple puts out any day.

Great watch with many watch faces available in App Store. I love this watch which replaces two older Pebble Watches, which I obviously loved also. This has been my preference over Apple Watches and, I am also in love with iPhones... My next watch may have to be an Apple π Watch (see below). The downside of buying a Pebble Watch today is the Pebble Manufacturer is no longer in business. You buy these Watches pretty much at your own risk and pray they will last, knowing that there is no more support from the manufacturer. Still my preference for a smart watch.

I've tried several different smartwatches, including the Apple Watch, the Zenwatch 2 and several variants of the Pebble smartwatch and for my needs, the Pebble Time Steel ticks all the right boxes. The device is well-made with physical buttons for navigation which I've found to be simple and easy to use. There are apps that take advantage of voice like Checklist (for creating quick todo/shopping lists), Voice2Timeline (for inserting quick snippets in the Timeline) and Send Texts (for creating and sending text messages by voice). Notifications are delivered reliably to my Android phone and finally battery life is the best of any smartwatch on any platform. Is the device perfect? Of course not, but the same can be said for competitive devices costing much more than the Pebble Time Steel.

I was looking to buy a new watch, but with all the talk of smart watches, I decided it to take a look at them and as I was searching I ran across, this wonderful gems, of Pebble watch. Pebble is the the smart watch creator of it all. But Pebble has sold(or what ever the lingle is) the company to Fitbit. So this watches are going for dirt cheap, on Ebay. Well I have not made a better investment, on a way to monitor my so call health. My watch has an alarm that works pretty good on getting me up, it monitors how many hours I get to sleep, how many hours of deep sleep I get, how many steps do I take a day. I get a glance of all kinds of messages, I can monitor my hart rate, have the weather, and even reply to messages from my wrist. I do not have to pull out my phone from my pocket. Now I happy with that, because non- of my other watches can do that, and I paid a whole lot more. Now the software looks like a toy, but simple works great, the screen on watches is small there are more apps, that I can use, but really? who wants to be looking to a screen smaller than you thumb? I have the Uber app, I have GPS/Maps, but trust me, the watch uses the data from your phone just take out you phone and use that. So I do not know what will happen once all Pebble servers go off-line, but the watch is great, and good battery life, light weight.Read full review
