It's Highly Rated for a Reason
Excellent Results! My first bluing and I expected shoddy results, vapors and a big mess. No. None. Not even a little. My gun was rusted so badly that my hands would turn brown just from handling it. I used a scotch-brite pad and Hoppes 9 to quickly take it to bare metal, wiped it with alcohol and started applying the Oxpho cream and the results were nothing short of amazing. I'm serious. I applied several coats, buffing between each one with steel wool and the barrel now has has a nice, steely-blue high gloss finish. The gun is 65 years old and lif not for some minor pitting could almost pass for brand new. If I had known cold bluing could look this good and be so easy I would have done it years ago. Tip: Do not let anything come in contact with the contents in the bottle - not even a finger or it will become contaminated. Pour quarter size blob on a paper plate and draw from that. I applied several coates to a Marlin 81 including the magazine tube and used about 1oz.

Good Quality Bluing Agent but difficult to use
Not as easy to use as other bluing agents but gives a good quality result. As a professional gunsmith I can recommend this product for touchup application but have not tried to blue a entire part or firearm with it. As it is a gel, it is difficult to reach the gel through the bottle neck and opening. It is difficult to wet a swab or cloth with the product as it gets lower into the bottle. I would recommend that a small amount be poured into a shallow container when using it.

Quality results with Oxpho-Blue
Oxpho-blue is an easy product to use . If you take your time and have prepped your metal well you should get professional results .I applied the product 6 times lightly buffing with 0000 steel wool between applications. The product goes a long way, a black powder barrel and a few other bits only used about 1 1 ounces. No need to heat the metal as the air temp was about 72 degrees . Follow the instructions , when your done put a light coat of gun oil on and reassemble all in same day. You should enjoy your results.

So easy to use!
Amazing easy to use product. It would be almost impossible for the average gun owner to duplicate the blue finish that comes from the factory but Oxpho-Blue does an excellent job. I especially like the "Creme". It's easier to use.

Actually works
This product works 10 times better than the other one I tried do a good job prepping use a little heat hair dryer heat gun just heat it up some to open the pours giving the blueing better penatration I reblued the whole barrel Good for touch up spots also Prep and a little heat is the key
