| Seller Notes: | “Normal patina from age to the book. Cover is worn as you would expect. No missing or detached pages. No tears . Some rough edge wear on a few pages. Some staining / yellowing to pages. Some bleeding pen ink to the other facing page, which is normal for a handwritten manuscript book. Superb artwork as you can see in the photos ! entire book is by hand . Even the elaborate borders are all by hand. Book starts in 1836 and is finished in 1845. All completely by the hand of Joseph Hunt of Dublin. Some of the photos I put in the description may be slightly blurry, and this is due to the camera shaking while I took the photos. All of what is in this book is very clear and beautiful in person. There are 299 pages, so many photos are not in this description. I put in most of the watercolors and artwork, but many of the handwritten text with the elaborate hand drawn borders are not in these photos, so please keep that in mind. In general the page before every drawing, there is handwritten text.” |
