Nice tool.

I bought this to complement my Li-On 20v. Dewalt tool collection . It works just fine, no cords to drag around , got enough power for cutting & grinding . I'll be using it just about every day at work , used it today & I love it .The only thing everyone should know is,they eat batteries fast! You'd be smart to have @ least 4ah batteries( more than one) for bigger jobs ,2ah batteries will only last a few minutes. Other than that it's a great tool , I got a good tool at a good price , free/ fast shipping ( 3 days from ordering to my door ) You can't beat that ! I will be visiting this store again . Thank You !!

Low power/torque

The grinder did not come with the wrench required to install a grinding or cutting wheel, I had a wrench from an old Craftsman grinder so I was able to install a cutting wheel; however, it was barely able to cut roofing metal, not enough power/torque.

A very nice compliment to the DeWalt 20V line.

Very powerful and handy to have in your arsenal. Comes with a nice grinding wheel. One important note: If you are planning to use the tool for cutoff jobs, as I primarily was, it does not include any cutoff blades of any kind. More importantly, if you ARE going to use it for cutoff jobs with 1/16" or 1/8" thick abrasive OR diamond blades, you WILL need to purchase a DW4706 backing flange (cost only around $3.00). This information is not very clear anywhere on the box or in the manual, so just save yourself the confusion like I had and get it right away! Otherwise, enjoy this tool, it's fun to work with!

This thing is awesome

Exceeded my expectations of what a cordless grinder would do. It spins slower than corded but still chews through the metal like butter. I tested the dewalt grinding disc it came with and it grinded away welds as good as my corded 7 amp grinder. Also tested with a cutting disc and it went through thick exhaust pipe like butter. I also bought a 6.0 ah battery here and now I'm ready to hit the boneyards!
