| Seller Notes: | “This is a New Old Stock Mister Gasket Vertigate shifter. The Mr Gasket part number is 8156 as shown. I believe Mr. Gasket stopped making this shifter decades ago and they are nearly impossible to find today. This shifter will fit a wide variety of 4 speed transmissions with the proper bracket and linkage. The brackets and linkage can be fairly easily fabricated or purchased. Please confirm your specific application.This shifter is brand new with it original box as shown. I bought this shifter from the son of the man who bought it new. He had dreams of installing this shifter in his car but he unfortunately passed before that happened. The son recently found the shifter buried in the garage where it called home since the early 80's.” |
