One of the few AR-10 style magazine vise blocks I could find online. Almost all that come up in generic online search are for AR-15 pattern rifles. This works well stabilizing my DPMS G2 Recon. Very good value. Only issue is you have to raise the rifle up just a little to get bolt to close, which doesn't need doing much when in a vise block, but it must also be raised when inserting a chamber guide for a cleaning rod. Very minor complaint. Overall it's fantastic.

I generally refuse to do ANY work on my rifles without using a vise block of sorts to secure the upper or lower receivers before I do whatever it is I need to do. It's just not worth it to me to save a few minutes while dinging up my rifles for a little "garage-smithing." I recently have been adding a couple little upgrades to my new large frame .308 and before doing anything, I needed a lower vise block for the large frame receiver set that I couldn't find in town. I checked around on the regular online stores I generally get that stuff from and bottom line, as much as I believe in buying quality over getting a good deal, it was a little tough to justify purchasing one from one of those known stores for (average price) $45-50 before shipping and tax. This is essentially the same thing, different color and that's about it for, if not mistaken $16. I figured if it wasn't good, I'd just keep it and find some other use for it but, when it came in i clamped it in the vice, put the lower on it, fit was good, not too tight but, tight enough you don't get any play. I did try it out with a couple variations of the MSR-10 and all worked with it just fine. All in all, it does what I need it to and for about $35 less than those you'll find at the specialty stores. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the NO M.A.R. vise block. I have owned many vise blocks over years yet none have been as solid and sturdy as the NO M.A.R. . I immediately ordered an additional .308 vise block to replace the one I previously had. This is a great product and I highly recommend it !!!

Although not primarily a rifle gunsmith, I have built 1911's and line bored, big bore Ruger's for 30+ years. So I know a good "gun" product when I come across it. I could have taken t up my time to make this on my Bridgeport but to order a chunk of plastic, phenolic, Delrin, etc , which I didn't have on hand, along with shipping cost, would have been past what this block costs shipped to you. And it is SOLID made well. I have a couple more of this seller's products and this old Veteran can highly give an endorsement. Will '69-'70

Used this tool to build my AR10 lower. Fits perfectly into the lower. It's like having a helper beside you. Made easy some steps including tapping pivot pins, installing pivot/takedown pins, grip, hammer, trigger...all parts! Definitely recommend it when building or maintaining an AR10.
