UV-blocking and contrast-enhancing color filter balancing give Oakley lenses their reputation. Oakley tends to choose between form and function, but only when starting out. Upon completion, each product retains both. Oakley's intuition, precision — and by now, experience — see to that. The quality, in a word, is exemplary. Frogskins' field of view is cut down from the outside bottom corners when compared to other frame designs like Holbrook. Still, you won't find the loss of coverage to be an impedement, for they simply lack the absolute peripheral coverage of fuller or sport-contoured lenses. For driving and cycling, they are fine.
