The diameter size of the head was one of the main reasons for purchasing thus. My finger fitment, when wrapping my fingers around the front handguard portion of my Bushmaster ACR was too tight to squeeze my fingers between the flashlight head and handguard, using my flashlights that have large diameter heads. The P10GT fits perfect! Now, I can wrap my fingers around the front right side of the handguard, where the P10GT sits, and theres about a 1/4'' -1/2'' gap between the P10GT and my fingers. I placed the flashlight mount and Magpul vertical grip where I can activate the strobe and light tailcap with my left thumb, while holding the vertical grip. Which brings me to my second feature, for purchasing the P10GT; the strobe and power buttons. They're AWESOME! They make you think ''Why didn't I think of that, so I can retire''? I love having the option of activating the strobe instantly. Strobe can also be activated, anytime, while the light is on. The main push button for turning the light on also has a solid temporary push for momentary light activation. It works perfect. A good steady push can be applied for momentary on, while not pushing too far for permanent on. Only time will tell, for this lights durability. I hope it lasts a long time, because I love it so far! The quality seems to be on par with flashlights costing 4 times as much (cough, cough, RapeFire). If you're thinking about buying one for your rifle or hand carry.... DO IT! I'm going to purchase more of these. Wish i found them sooner!Read full review

You don't need to click through modes as stupid design from other makers. The strobe button activate strobe immediately and can be used to switch between high and low. It takes both 18650 and CR123. Cannot find better lights.

Would get 5 stars but I was expecting to be able to use it out of the box. But that's hard to do without batteries. Not a big deal, just be aware that you will have to buy 2-cr123 or one 18650 battery to use it. Other than that, it's a great light and perfect to use on a picatinny rail mount

The unit does as advertised. Pros: *the flashlight is snugly fit next to barrel and the mag. (out of the way) *the switch is very low profile *right or left mount, I prefer left mount for thumb access to switch *switch is easly mounted with velcro tape, that will eventually come unglued Cons: *pressure switch does not come with attachment mechanism *having to search for switch mounting mechanism (which is not available) or improvising a holding unit *having to create the switch mounting unit seen in attached picts.
