This item has so lived up to my expectations and the reviews i read. It feels sturdy; well designed; and works efficiently. If I had had to make one suggestion, it would be that it there should be a third slicer/ blade that cuts long thin slices in addition to cubes.

This is a well made product. However, I wouldn't recommend it because the chopping surface is too small. Onions (this is advertised an an Onion Chopper) are at lease twice the size of the blades. One slice would have to be halved or most likely quartered to fit. This isn't very labor saving and you would most likely still have tears. This would be great for cucumbers, carrots, eggs or tomatoes. But for onions or potatoes - I'd get a different product.

They refer to it as an onion chopper, but it works great with bell peppers, potatoes, mushrooms & more. It has 2 inserts for sizes & cuts a lot in only one pass. The chopped ingredients go directly into the included container. The unit cleans easily & requires little storage space.
