      A great story for kids of all ages!

      Used to read this story to kids when I was a teacher. Shows the dishonor of "gossip". and how words can hurt forever.

      A Wonderful Lesson

      This book reminds me of a story my grandmother used to tell me. Mr. Peabody's Apples teaches a lesson through a story of a boy and his mentor. Although the story relates to a baseball which appeals to boys, girls will enjoy it too. The illustrations look like watercolors and give a feeling of moving with the wind. It is a great book to own because you can read it often and not find it boring. It is one of those stories that's easy to remember and retell without the book--(parents know that having a good story to retell makes time pass faster in the dr.s office or at a slow restaurant!) The moral of the power of words is quite valuable.

      Excellent Life Lesson for Everyone - Highly Recommend

      Great book! I highly recommend!! This book provides an excellent life lesson for both children and adults. The message is about the power of words. Rumors can spread very fast and be very damaging. It is an excellent story with amazing illustrations. I already had this book and my sister just borrowed it to read to her 4th grade classroom. I purchased this copy so that she can keep it in her classroom.

      Well worth the lesson

      This is a book about how easy it is to spread rumors. I use this book as a school counselor with my 5th graders. They learn that once you say something, you can never take it back. Some people have an issue with the fact that Madonna is the author. The children have no clue and the book stands on its own merit.

      Positive message cor children

      I bought this book because I am a very big fan of Madonna and wanted to have all her children's books for myself and any future children I may have. I read Mr. Peabody's apples the day I got it. It is a very sort story with a very good,positive message. I will share it with the children in my family and hopefully,someday my own children. Thanks ,Madonna, for these great stories!
