Junk!
This item did not work properly with AT&T in Florida, USA. Although I live near a tower and always have 5 bars service, about 90% of the time the "call failed" or service was lost and the message "emergency calls only" was displayed. Simultaneously, my other phone was working fine. I traded sim cards and got the same results. I also traded batteries and got the same results. This phone repeatedly shut itself off. The auto update for the time and date did not work at all. When it shut itself off, I had to reset the time. I was very surprised and disappointed because I had two prior US/AT&T (not European) Motorola Razrs that worked well. I question whether this item was "new". There were text message "quick notes" in Italian with spelling and grammatical errors. ???

Battery cover falls off
Unfortunately a small plastic nub that the cover snaps past is broken off. Any handling that would normally be fine causes the cover to fall off and the battery to also fall out. Seller could not have known this and it was only through use that we discovered the problem. Other than that it seems to be a damn fine phone. I am going to try that 5 second glue, that is popular right now, to fix it

Great phone, none better than the Razr!
I have used Motorola Razr phones for a few years now. They are a great. I am very leery of purchasing any other brand or style of phone. However, this particular one has a different layout with the contents, takes a bit of getting used to. I have had several different phones in the past 10 years, but Motorola and especially the Razr has held up the best.

The RAZR is an easy no fuss multipurpose phone.
This is the second RAZR I own. My wife and I use these models when we travel in Europe. We can buy local SIM cards, easily slip them in the phone and we are good to go. My wife and I can easily contact each other without any fuss. Also as a tour group leader, I need a phone with a local phone number and this phone is excellent in serving this purpose.

Great value for the money.
I just love my Razor. I am a simple person, I need it only for calling but I also love the different ringtones I download on it. Easy to read, big numbers, very good lighting on it. Not a complicated phone compared to some other phones. Highly recommended also for elderly people, because of the ease of use.
