A nice option
I have 3 mace/pepper guns. The mace guns have a great range but are a little on the large side, making concealment difficult. The pepper gun is quite a bit smaller and easier to conceal but has a shorter range. Bottom line, you need a few different options depending on your carrying circumstances.

Need to be aware of 1 characteristic
Great quality. Only downfall is, a very hard trigger pull. I'm sure it's designed that way but could be difficult for some people including women. Just need to be aware. Water practice cartridge is essential.

Good build quality
The build quality is better than expected. Changing the canisters is easy, and both sprays went about 20 feet as advertised. A bit smaller and lighter than expected, but that's not a bad thing. Having the safety switch is a big plus, and the lights work well enough in a dark environment (not super bright.)
