So far so good!

I was initially skeptical of the low price on these batteries. They do not come in factory packaging either. However! They have performed great so far. Upon close inspection they appear to be genuine. They did have a few scuffs and kind of a wierd shinyness when I got them but if you use your tools at all they will get scuffed up anyway. I can't really tell very much difference in battery life between these and my 4ah batteries. Not at all like the difference between the 3ah and 4ah. But the best thing is they're half price of Home Depot. Fingers crossed that they last!

Bad batteries

These batteries do not hold a charge at all. I've used them for a week and they are pretty pitiful. I understand they're cheap but using them in the construction industry is not possible. I didn't realize these batteries were from the same company called VANON. I had a battery stop working a couple weeks ago from the same company. It had been working well for 6 months or so. Says there's a 5 year warranty but no one has responded when I asked for my money back/replacement. Save yourself the time, save up some money and buy a legit Makita battery, it's worth it.

Just what I needed

These batteries are excellent, and there is nothing like the genuine name brand when it comes to these types of batteries-I am in remodeling full-time and can’t have a battery die on me in the middle of a critical time, and these Makita batteries not only have 5.0 A hours which is incredible, but hold their charge incredibly long. This particular deal is something you don’t want to pass up.

Mikita quality OEM batteries.

Mikita batteries last longer in the tool and have a longer service life than “bargain” brand batteries. 5.0 Ah means longer run time. LED Charge indicators are a real help in knowing when it’s going to need a charge.

Replacement Battery

Old Makita battery just quit, 4 years old have been recharged many times. Drill is still good, just need new battery. Have had new battery for about 3 weeks, work great. J Moore
