Good looking, comfortable, wish it was brighter
I have always wanted a luminox. Finally got one and found the markers are not be as bright as all the photos illustrated. After your eyes adjust to total darkness,, the markers are good enough, but in moon, or city light they are not very bright. I assume that tactically that would be better than having an irradiated green glow lighting up the night sky on your arm if your deep in a jungle or desert hiding from the other guy... it is stylish, people comment on it (and say, isn't it supposed to light up). It is lightweight, the band is comfortable rubber (silicone, whatever..) and the fit and finish is high quality. Just wish the sweep hand swept and was not a just a counter for the chrono function. But overall I like it. Not sure how dualrable the polycarbonate case is, seems plasticy more then, but facey plastic is fancy i suppose. Band is nice, light, comfortable, but I replaced it with a metal one, more fancy and gives the watch a more expensive look.

Understated yet bold
The contrast of black on white and the size of the numerals makes it easy to read at a glance. Its size covers most of my wrist which keeps it snug without having to adjust the band tightly. Both aspects present an understated yet bold look. I expect it to be as durable as my previous 10+ year old Luminox (that’s still ticking) through very active wear especially in and around water.

Good comfortable mens watch
This watch has great heritage and a dependable Swiss movement. Apparently many US law enforcement/ military departments ( including the Navy Seals) issue this watch as standard equipment. Most of the watch is made from carbon fibre giving a low metallic signature...is very light in weight. It is extremely easy to see at night. A very worthy watch for the asking price.

Luminox Chronograph, perfect watch
You could spend thousands more on a watch, but why? This Luminox Chrono has it all. It’s rugged, keeps perfect time, the tritium tubes are very bright. It’s very light weight. And it’s size makes it the perfect watch for anyone. It’s very hard to find a chrono that has all this and is still water resistant to 200 meters. A real dive watch. And the price is great.

As good as a watch gets
As an old guy, I require a tad more light to read a watch dial, book, facial expression, etc. This is the most readable watch I have ever had. That is, it's better than my old Big Blue and it's far better than my Breitling Jupiter PIlot. Since I don't concern myself with style, style was not a consideration in getting this watch. The only hitch was operating the stop watch. One has to firmly press the start/stop button and the reset button. I don't regard this as a defect at all. One just has to press the buttons like he ("he" used in the OED sense in this PC age -- don't wanna be called a "sexist") means it.
