Great Watch
So far I'm loving the addition of this Luminox Recon to my collection. It's my first Luminox and so far it has delivered. The movement is of a better quality and the sapphire crystal is of a decent thickness. The watch is very light weight making it comfortable to wear. PC/Carbon is a nice choice for the case, but I'm not sure it would take a beating. Styling of the case is reminiscent of a Tag Heuer. Rubber straps aren't my favorite, but the width and double holes are redeeming qualities. The crown is well protected, although not screw down. My guess is it's water resistant and not waterproof. First impression: Large sword hands are in stark contrast to the face and are easy to read, Rotational bezel has a smooth operation, Bezel numbers are well protected from bumps and scratches, Swiss Ronda movement, 24 hour markings are nice, Date window has perfect spacing around edges of the date, Walking tachymeter, Orange markers from 9-12 adds just a bit of flare and the Sweep hand has a Tritium tube. Tritium is the reason I got this watch and I really like the layout of the tubes on the watch face. Multiple tube sizes and colors also make it easy to know where the 12'o'clock position is. The lume isn't too bright, but more than enough to read in a dark room. I really like it so far and for under $180 delivered you can't go wrong. I'm not sure this watch would stand up to any real abuse, but other than that it's a great value for a Swiss watch of this style. I recommend if you're in the market.

Well made comfortable timepiece
This watch appears to be a very well made, comfortable timepiece. I was impressed with the glow of the tritium tubes as well. It's very easy to read in daylight or darkness. The silicone band is very comfortable and the size of the watch face is perfect for my 6.5" wrist. The sapphire crystal is a bonus that you don't see as much on tactical style watches from this price range.
