Good sound quality
Easy to use
Long battery life
Great for the car with USB input.
I bought this unit to store audio books on, to play in my car. it is always connected to the cars USB port, so a battery is not required. Works great and holds about seven books.

Price was right but the battery goes from fully charged to dead in about 30 minutes flat. I only paid about $40 though and it was used so that's on me.

APPLE iPOD nano chromatic Blue (8) MP3 Player
I bought this product a few months ago and I was impressed with all the features it has. The color just knocked me out. I am going to learn to use all the other features later. It is very easy to work and handle. The feature I like is that you can listen to your music by artist, album in alphbetical order or random. The only gripe I had, is that it arrived without any instructions of how to work it on the computer. We had one heck of time figuring it out, but we finally figure. It would have been a lot easier if there was a manual or instructions. I like the 8GB, you can really put a lot of your CD's on the product. The other feature I like is the games on it. I did'nt know about that when I bought. Pretty cool. My brother bought me a small nano and unfortunately I lost it. So I went on-line and looked for a nice one without paying and arm and leg so to speak. So I found this one, liked it and ordered it. I am very satisified with this product.
First iPod, and it disappoints in many ways
This was my first iPod, and it failed to impress. My biggest gripe was that it's not at all obvious how you shuffle WITHIN a playlist, as I don't like to listen to different types of music all together. I had to google around for a while to find an answer. It would have been much more helpful for that option to be in the "now playing" context menu than everything else in that menu. The player feels too light and thin, as if I'm going to break it, something I never worried about with previous MP3 players - that may sound dumb, but I have to gingerly pick it up and put it down. It's hard to land on the specific item you want to click with the scrollwheel - a feature that's useful only if you have huge music libraries of the sort you only get from P2P swapping (something Apple clearly recognized from the start). And the touch controls are rather sensitive. Often I keep the Nano on hold so it doesn't accidentally skip to the next song or mess with the volume when it's in my pocket. And as much as people love iTunes, it's just not that great to me. You can't delete songs from your iPod - you have to de-select them in iTunes, which is f'ing ridiculous. I've seen instructions for getting around this with Explorer, but Apple really shouldn't make you jump through hoops just to delete songs. This player is useful basically for me to carry a larger library with me, and that's it. The UI is a pain and the controls aren't intuitive. My Slacker G2 player has been much more enjoyable.
Great little player huge upgrade from my first generation Nano 2 GB.
I bought this product because I lost my first generation Nano 2 GB. I like this design better than the new Nano (6th generation) because you don't have to look at the screen to change the songs and it doesn't have to be as exposed. Since I do a lot of mountain biking and a decent amount of falling I can appreciate that. The basic layout is very similar to the original Nano however the screen is higher resolution and brighter. Also, the graphics are smoother and more colorful. I really like how they incorporated Genius into the options for this model. I have not had enough time to evaluate the battery life but it seems on par with the first generation Nano but probably not any better. I could get between 5-8 workouts in without charging. It plays video, however the screen is very small and not the right shape so I wouldn't replace your smartphone or ipod touch if you are planning to watch a lot videos. Overall I feel that it is a very solid player with any feature you could want. Perfect for those with an active lifestyle.
