Even though Tim had a hit single that spoke negatively about putting pop music into country (while at the same time having a hit single with hip-hop rapper Nelly), Tim is decidedly pop-country. Some people whine and complain about this to no end. Why? If there can be all different kinds of rock (i.e. classic, alternative, hard, grunge, Indie) why can't there be different kinds of country. If everyone sounded like Alan Jackson, they'd complain about that too. Tim's a talented singer and this is a great album. It's one of his best and I own all of 'em. I knew when I first heard this album that there were going to be several mainstream country hits. But I think some of my favorite songs will never make it to radio. For instance, "Something's Broken" a love gone wrong song with a clever hook at the end, and "Old Town New" another love gone wrong song. My take on it is a guy wishes he could change the same ol' same ol' about his home town because everything reminds him of her. The whole album isn't just country love songs, though. The track "Kill Myself" is about a person who wants to change his life and all his horrible ways and the only way he can do that is to kill his old self. And I fully enjoyed Tim's version of "Can't Tell Me Nothin'" which was also recorded by Nashville Star Brad Cotter. You'll have to buy the album and listen for yourself to find more good'uns.Read full review
this is my third cd of this title, I wore the others out..so many wonderful songs, and my favorite of course is the title song because before my husband passed away, we tried to do the everyday little things that even now, almost four years later, I am so grateful we had that time together with our daughters and as a family..I have been a tim fan from the beginning and as my husband's cancer spread, he would ask me to play cds for him, many were Tim's..It's Your Love was our special song after 24 years together..I wish the brain cancer hadn't changed him before he was able to remember the joy tim's music gave us, and for me, I still cry when I hear it, but also remember our wonderful life together, the good and the bad, our daughters, very special cd to me. highly recommend this cd to allRead full review

Live Like You Were Dyin is one of those wonderful songs that make me and should make everyone take note. Too many of us are complacent and do our day jobs to come home and do housework, watch our shows / movies on TV and do not think beyond the weekend and the threat of Monday morning goin back to work. LIFE DOES PASS MOST OF US BY. We do not truly know what tomorrow will bring and really need to realize how little time we have on this earth. I always stop when I hear Tim sing this song especially. It is a wonderful reminder of how many things can wait {@ least once in awhile folks} while we do something we may never get the chance to do, unless we take it now! This man is a genius with words!
I listen to the first track over and over. It is the title song for the TV series Trick My Truck - How Bad Do You Want It. That song alone makes the purchase worth while.
