I used this switch to replace an original switch made by another manufacturer. I was disappointed with the old switch service life, so decided if I was going to get a switch that was going to fail in three years, I might as well pay less. With this switch, I didn't see any notable reduction in quality. In fact, there was attention to detail that was encouraging. The switch shaft was lubricated at the factory, terminal connections were robust, access was as easy as the old switch for wiring. There may be or may not be any significant differences on your application. But here is what can be different: 1) Port locations. This is a four port switch. One port exits on a different plane than the other three ports. In my case, the three ports were not in the same location. I worked around that by facing the switch differently. That put the unloader port in the same direction as the old switch. I added a couple of 45 degree fittings to get the gauges facing in a happy direction. 2) How your wires are held in the box. On my existing unit, the cords had semi-rigid bushings molded on the cord. I decided not to modify the cord ends, so instead modified the switch box housing by cutting off the slot shapes on the old housing and riveting it onto the new box. This switch also featured a double set of contacts, my old switch only had singles. I made use of the second set by making a pair of jumpers. Now the load is spread over two sets of contacts instead of one. I checked out LEFOO, they're not a backyard operation. They are a sizable, modern company in China with other product lines, and they have ISO certification. So to review, compare port locations, then how your wiring enters the box. If everything matches, it should be an easy install. If not, depends on your skills at modification, it can still work.Read full review

After hours of careful installation, the compressor would not switch on. I grabbed a ohm meter and found that the contacts are not connecting, "making", unless the little nub on top is jiggled slightly and even then working less than half the time. Since there is no documentation, I cannot be sure why the nub is there. I though it might be a cover safety, but the cover is not close enough. I though of other ways to make it work, but didn't want to risk over pressurizing an old tank. It appears that the manufacturer may have left out a spring or something. Otherwise, it appears well made. IF you decide to buy this, test it carefully before wasting time installing and removing.

I own a Harbor Freight compressor that has been pretty reliable, and a couple weeks ago I broke the pressure switch when was rearranging my garage. After looking at pressure switches locally I thought I would have to just buy a new compressor because I didn't want to sink $50 into a $150 compressor. Found this switch and its a direct replacement for the original and it was very reasonable and it shipped fast. Luckily, I was able to keep my cheapo machine going just a little longer.

My Clarke 6 gallon pancake compressor was leaking air from the pressure switch gasket. Since the unit is 18 years old, Clarke is no longer in business and parts are no longer available. So, after searching online, found this perfect replacement part that works exactly like OEM part. It saved my compressor and I am truly grateful! Thanks

You would think that it would be so easy to acquire this component for a compressor. Yet that has been the furthest from the truth for me until I came across what you were selling. Thank you very much my compressor now is fully functional and working as it should.
