Magic Stick!
The LG Cord Zero Vacuum does a great job on steps and hardwood floors. It struggles a bit with very thick carpeting but otherwise does a fine job on short to medium carpet height. A full charge last for over an hour of constant operation and the vacuum of quiet and easy to operate, and easy to empty. Yes The vacuum and attachments live on the charging base when not in use.
