The Dynamic Duo hits the bricks in LEGO Batman: The Videogame. In the game's main campaign, players take control of Batman and Robin for familiar bust-and-build action and puzzle-solving adventure through more than a dozen levels of Gotham City -- re-created completely from Lego brand toy building blocks, of course. There are plenty of thugs, goons, and even supervillians ready for a brawl along the way, and Bat-gadgets, vehicles, and a special-purpose "tech suits" allow the Caped Crusaders to make their way through various precarious situations.
Once the good guys have won the day, another full campaign has players taking the roles of the bad guys, including favorites such as the Joker, Catwoman, Mister Freeze, the Penguin, Poison Ivy, the Riddler, Scarecrow, Two-Face, and others. Different characters have different abilities, and it sometimes takes teamwork to overcome an obstacle and progress to the next area. As in the earlier Lego games, collection quests and other side activities may allow players to create even quirkier mixes and matches.
LEGO Batman is the first co-production of Warner Bros. Interactive and its 2007 acquisition, TT Games, which includes developer Traveller's Tales. The game features the humor, action, and family-friendly presentation found in the developer's popular LEGO Star Wars games, while incorporating characters and content from nearly 70 years of Batman comics, cartoons, television shows, movies, and music available under the publisher's license.

Good 2 Player Game - Kids & Adults Alike
This game offers my 5 year old and I something that we can do together on the XBOX 360 system, and we both understand it well enough to play. The levels are easy enough, and not too frustrating where you might want to quit. The game play instruction might be a little easier, as there is very little. I find that we have to play for a while on certain levels to figure out where to go next. Overall, a great game for old an young alike, for a few hours of entertainment. It captures your attention, provides a good story line, and gives both players equal game play.
Fun for all !
If you're a fan of Lego Star Wars and Lego Indy then you'll enjoy LEGO Batman, it has the same control mechanics of those two previous titles, but with the Batman twist and storyline. The cutscenes are pretty funny and the graphics are definetely not Fallout 3 or Gears 2 but they work very well for this game. What's also pretty neat is the co-op mode where you can work together to be beat the game. The music is taken from the cartoon series and movies and it adds the superhero ambiance to it. Although not very difficult to beat just trying to find the hidden item, charecters, and skills keeps you coming bask for more. With all that being said I give Lego Batman an 8 out of 10.
Lego Batman is a fun and exiting game
Lego Batman is a fun and exiting game that takes players deep into the world of Batman with 3 different episodes to play each with 5 different levels. Throw in the fact that you can play the villain side of the story for a new prospective on the story and you have one solid game. The Good, The Bad, and The Infuriating The Good This game has such strong replay value with hidden levels to discovery over 150 mini kits to find ( 10 per level), Power bricks that unlock new powers such as a Mini Kit detector, stud magnet, score multipliers and more, Free play (this allows you or you and a friend to play any level with any character Hero or Villain, hidden suit upgrades to make Batman and Robin Stronger, faster, and reach places they never could before. The Bad What games doesn’t have a few bad points thankfully there are only one or two hiccups in the game the most notable being the Camera controls it is almost always fixed in game though not a problem for 99% of the time it can make it hard to find mini kits from time to time. The Infuriating The one problem I have with this game is there are a lot of two man switches you must press together with a human player this is no problem but play it alone an the computer A.I will have you slapping your Lego partner silly to hit the switch you want ( there are only two or three places this is a problem so don’t let this keep you from buying or at least renting the game. One of the best reasons to buy this game is for the achievements it will be one of those games the 1000 points is well in hand some of them will take a while to get like 4,000,000,000 Studs ( Max out Stud Counter) this can seem like a daunting task but if you find the power bricks for score multiplier (or go on line and enter the code in the bat computer) it becomes easy beast of all it will not turn of achievements because the game is built for you to use them. For Example collect all 10 mini kits in a level and earn 50,000 studs but if you have the multipliers 2x, 4x, 6x, and 10x unlocked and turned on in the extra menu then you have a score multiplier of 480. 50,000 x 480= 24,000,000 studs your well on your way with that plus you find studs every where in the game just smash or build stuff to find them. All in all Lego Batman is a great game to Buy or if you prefer you should rent it although renting may not give you enough time to beat the game with 100% stats but at least you tried it.
If you liked Stars Wars Legos and Indiana Jones Lego, you'll love the batman version. This one is more like the Star Wars version. There are a few tricky situations that make game play much more interesting. Indiana Jones was way too easy. The characters all have their own special abilities and special suits to allow them to do certain tasks. The graphics are excellent and the game play is great for 2 people or 1, but its much more fun with 2. My 5 year old can play it and so can i. So its for any age. Certainly geared to the 8-13 year old range but still any age can enjoy this well made game... You play as the good guys and the bad guys in this one.. Something else that makes it much more interesting... GO BUY THIS ONE!!!
