Why do they still manufacture the "V" cup.
This Little guy does all the work of the bigger counter hogging unit I got rid of. The V cups are not available in MOST stores where as the K cup is available most everywhere you shop. Even Staples carries these cups. Over the past few years we have noticed the variety and the cost of the K vs the V is different. You can still make only one cup at a time with both units , but the big unit is just a waste of space and the V cups are not as cost effective......

Perfect Brewer For A Person Who Isn't a Dummy
...Don't be a dummy like I was - a fool who, in order to get the most out of the coffee, pours the boiling hot coffee back into the maker for a second brewing - just to get a stronger cup! Gawd, was that ever a stupid move on my part! My beautiful, perfect Keurig died in less than six months and I had to replace it! To this day, I don't know what depraved lunatic demon advised me to do that to my maker - I mean - WHERE was my common sense when I needed it!!!

Great Coffee Maker
Great coffee maker. Easy to use. Not the easiest to deep clean. You will need a variety of small brushes to get it cleaned well. When cleaning it, it is just bulky and hard to position to get to those hard areas that need to be cleaned. As far as the function of it, it is great and makes coffee quick.
FINALLY GOT A KEURIG!
I have been wanting one of these since they came out. We're empty nesters now, and spouse doesn't drink coffee. I drink coffee early and tea late, and this machine is so nice to just prepare a quick cuppa and have it easy peasey. It took me a little while to get used to pulling up and down a few times on the handle for the water to enter into the reservoir properly before the BREW button would light up to red (one of my favorite things ever, haha.) I was concerned with the cost of the K-Cups, and use them - especially nice when having company at a serve-yourself station area in our home - but for myself I tend to use the little plastic and netted re-usable cups with it and use my favorite bulk coffees and loose-leaf teas. I have one for coffee and one for tea and have been using them daily for over a month and they're holding up fine. There is a lot on the net about how to properly clean them, so far I have just simply rinsed a few times with vinegar and them lots of hot water. I do use quality filtered water, which they claim helps keep them cleaner and longer lasting. I love the MINI Keurig and highly recommend giving it a try - because it's easy, small and perfect for a single person or a guest room or as a gift.
