My dogs very easy used to lost their interest in toys, but with this Kong, they stay hours playing. Doesn't lose small parts so is very safe for powerfull chewers. I strongly recomend!

Three different sizes to make up one almost indestructible chew toy is a perfect design. Thank you KONG. My dog is a mixed breed who likes to play. This toy bounces off non-carpet surfaces which adds to her amusement and keeps her interested. She loves to chew, so this makes it her absolute FAVORITE toy! Again, Thank you to the designers. My dog gets better sleep because she has had a full day of play!

I bought my first Kong treat chew-toy about five years ago, and I'm sure it still isn't destroyed. I used to think my pitboxer could destroy a radial tire in less than two hours, and Kong products are the only ones that he's never been able to demolish. His first treat dispenser is "lost", and that's why when I didn't find it after a few weeks, I bought this one. I'll eventually find the first one I bought, but I'm finished with anymore search efforts, figuring he's left it somewhere in the basement. If he doesn't lose this one, it's doubtful I'll ever need to replace it. It might get scarred by his gnawing efforts, but he only wants the Milk Bone on the inside, so he doesn't care about its aesthetics. It takes only the slightest effort to jam a medium Milk Bone inside, and it takes several minutes for him to get it out. I'm so impressed with the Kong extremes, I never hesitate to buy their products. When it's advertised for power-chewers, there's truth in that advertising. How great is that?Read full review

I have a Brittany spaniel that we just rescued in November. For sure, he is a chewer, we discovered, going through socks, hats, a Swiffer duster, all of my previous dogs' toys that included ropes, balls, and sturdy fabric toys meant for rough and tough abuse, and a blanket. Tennis balls (the real ones--not the ones sold specifically for dogs, which he annihilates within a couple of minutes...and the Kong 'tennis' ball that squeaks has only lasted a little longer than that even though it's bigger than a real tennis ball) were the only thing that could withstand the power of his jaws. With Christmas coming, I wanted to find a gift toy that I could get for him that was durable, so I took a chance and got him a large Kong Extreme. It has not shown any signs of wear almost two weeks later, despite the chewing action it has already endured! When I use it as a time occupier with a bit of peanut butter or a dog biscuit for him, it keeps him busy for hours. So far, though, he prefers to use it as such as opposed to using it as a toy, favoring his real tennis balls and a rubber one that a friend gave him, but that's just his preference because that's what he's grown up using right along, I think. I know other people who have bought these Kong Extremes, though, and their dogs love to play with them. They do have a strong rubber smell, too, just to forewarn you, but that doesn't seem to stop dogs from playing with these toys. I highly recommend them! Very tough and excellent quality.Read full review

My puppy would chew through ALL his toys, even decent nerf branded ones. He has had the kong now for a few weeks and he has yet to take a piece off it. Also keeps him entertained for hours when we stuff it with peanut butter and treats. Would definitely recommend!
