Drafting table is well-built, well-featured, and very affordable.

This adjustable drafting table is pleasingly sturdy and well-built. The metal framework seems to be of good quality -- although I would always recommend the good practice of tightening all the bolts in by hand instead of using a power tool, to avoid stripping out any threads. Assembly was easy and the included instructions were clear. Just for longevity, I applied a light dab of grease to the two tabletop pivot bolts. It stands a little taller than a traditional household table, but people used to artist/drafting tables probably know to expect that. The table doesn't take up much floor space, but the tabletop feels roomy while working. It is quite lightweight and easy to move. The option to use rolling casters or glide feet is nice, as is the fact that two of the casters are locking. And the locking actually works! The glass tabletop on mine is clear, smooth, and flawless. It was a little darker than I expected (it is smoke-tinted rather than clear) but I like the look of the smoke-tinted glass better. It just offers less light transmission if I place a light behind it (using the table as a lightbox). The tilting mechanism is smooth and feels solid. As another reviewer pointed out, to lower the tabletop, first raise it all the way up. This may not be a factor for most people considering this table, but one other thing I was pleased with is that the simple design allows extra items to be added to the table framework easily. To make the most of lost space, I am adding a shelf that extends behind the center cross-girder, and could easily envision adding hanging files along the table legs. As a parting note, the table was well-packed in the shipping box, with the glass tabletop sheathed in styrofoam and double-boxed. I am very pleased with the table, and would gladly recommend it.

Worked perfectly! Stable, and easy to put together!

I was a little cautious buying this, worried it wouldn't be any good and I'd have blown my money on a rickety waste of space.... But it was so wrong! The sizing is perfect, the height is good. It comes with the option to have wheels or normal feet on the bottom - I tried both and choose the wheels for height. It rolls very smooth, but also has locks. I ended up accidently putting a piece in upside down, but it was really easy to take it apart and turn it around. The lifting of the drafting area is incredibly smooth - though I will say I haven't found a super easy way to put it back down besides sitting under the desk to do it. (Edit: it did actually work to move it up all the way then put it down, I thought I tried that but apparently I didnt, so I'm very happy it does work!) The instructions were easy, all the screws matched the holes, and it took maybe an hour or two to put together on my own. It wasn't frustrating at all! Super pleased! So happy I bought this and everything worked out! (the only thing that didn't go together perfectly were the drawers, whose frame came out only slightly like a rhombus. Didn't stop them from fitting though.) I totally recommend this to someone looking for an affordable drafting/art desk!

being honest, i bought a table similar to this one on Office Depot, regular table didnt do anything awesome, i saw this one, i went back to Office Depot to Return it, now that i have it and build it, wow!!! extremely easy to build, very nice for drawing and actually Studying, the best table i bought so far Thanks...

Drafting Drawing Craft Table

I love this table! Easy to put together. And looks so good! I can have the side tray on with my T Square with no problem. I had a desk before and it would not work. The glass top is so great looking and solid! I would recommend this desk for anyone with a need for a work station for drafting drawing any kind of art work you need a stable table, desk for. A+ for workmanship and quality. Will use for years and years to come. Thank You! Daniel S

Adjustable Drafting Drawing Craft Art Desk

I just love this art desk. I do a lot of crafts and painting and the glass top on this desk worked just beautifully. I made some paper clay ornaments for Christmas cards and painted them before putting them on my cards. The glass top worked out great because I could check the bottoms of the ornaments to see if they were dry before I touched them. I looked at them right through the glass top. Would recommend this art glass desk to all my friends.
