The only negative is it has one speed, fast. So you have to pulse the button with your finger for control. it is not an on off switch, it's a pulse switch that is on only as long as you press it. Otherwise it works great, plenty of power. I fill it with ice cubes, add some soda and make a slushy, if you listen as you pulse it, you can hear the blade hit the particles of ice. When it sounds smooth the ice is pulverized and it won't clog your straw. If it spins super fast it will develop a cavity of air and stop mixing, you have to add more liquid at that point. I get very hot working outside, so I like a fluid drink right at 32 degrees to cool me down Iit mellows out the soda so it is not so sweet and carbonated so I can drink more water and not get a sugar high. I love it, the price is great and it has plenty of power. Anyone that gives it a negative review is just not smart enough to know how to use it.Read full review

I bought this blender because it comes with two cups. I already have an identical blender, but the blades quit working due to stripped threads and the extra cup is the same, so now I have two operational blenders. The only problem is that this new blender has noticeably less power than my old one, even though the model # and wattage are the same. It works OK, but it is not as efficient as my original blender.
