There's enough info out there on these without me adding to the noise about their soundstage, detail, eq etc etc. Look they're clearly excellent sounding headphones. Fairly well made, although I'm not convinced by the craftsmanship and materials. Especially around the cable connection area. Looks a bit well... poorly machined to me. Minor detail, but if you're spending this kind of money, you expect a certain level of workmanship. Now what put me off. 1. They're made in China. Whenever you buy from China you are supporting the regime, and the economic success of that regime. If you're ok with that, then this isn't a problem for you. 2. The main reason I personally am not a fan of these is that they feel weirdly claustrophobic. They aggressively surround your ears in a way that I personally found unsustainable. It's a personal thing, and again it's minor, but if you intend to wear your cans for a long period of time, comfort becomes a significant feature. Whilst the pads are soft and initially comfortable they become weirdly clingy over time and become more noticeable over time. Also the pleather material makes them hot and sweaty after a while. I always prefer a velvet/velour material. The sound was very good, but not massively superior to other headphones in a similar price bracket, AKGs Audio Technica, Good Beyers etc. At least to my ears. It really is the case that you need to try, and see what you like. These cans made me realise how important comfort and form factor is once you pass the 'acceptable' sound quality threshold.Read full review

I purchased these with the expectation of them sounding good, but hopeful they would sound noticeably better than what I have already. I am no audiophile but I am learning to really enjoy music again. The headphones came in a very impressive looking box. They were fully secure with foam so no damage would occur from shipping. I listen to them with either my Schiit Magni 2 Uber and the Schiit Modi 2 Uber or my Fiio x1 with Fiio A3 portable headphone amp. The headphones are light with soft and cushy ear pads. The clamp pressure of the metal headband provides for a very secure fit. The construction is sturdy and assembled with attention to detail. The longest I wore these were about 2 hours at one time and my ears did not warm up and I did not have a feeling of tiredness. These are open back headphones, very open back. These would not be the headphones to listen too sitting next to someone. I listen to all types of music such as Uplifting Trance, Classical, Jazz, Rock and Roll, male vocals, and female vocals. The sound quality blew me away! The highs are clear and not harsh for my ears. The mids are clear and the lows are more neutral sounding and do not get excessive. I am very pleased with these headphones and would buy them again. Read full review

These are some of the best headphones you can own. The planar driver really needs an amp to push it, but my god they sound good.
