Don't know how much more I can add that hasn't been said in the other reviews. Engaging, engrossing, intriguing and ENTERTAINING as all heck are just a few of the superlatives that come to mind. An *extremely* well put together show with over-arching story arcs that goad the viewer to take in the entire series. If you like this sort of programming, you will not be satisfied watching just one or two eps. This is a show worthy of marathon viewing. In fact, chances are excellent that if you have one season of this program you'll be acquiring the other in short order, including upcoming season three and on. In addition to the previously described cop-buddy show blended with a wonderful send-up of Jay Ward's "Fractured Fairytales," the attentive viewer will also notice that this show is not only about humans, but different *species* getting along with each other. How cool is that? Loved the bonus features in this--the included "webisode" is a hoot!--as well as the ones on the season one set. Just wish there had been more of them. In summation then: a grandly enjoyable show and box set that gives more bang for the buck than many other box sets costing several times more. And definitely a good one to watch with friends and family on snowy winter and sultry summer evenings alike.Read full review
For fans of this show (Universal-based, home of the monsters!) The first season was good, but really only setting the groundwork for what was to come...a bit like setting up a powderkeg full of dynamite!! Season 2 doesn't disappoint--lots of action/plot development/new characters & twists! A must-see, especially commercial-free. Very difficult not to watch in one sitting (if one only had the time...) For those who haven't seen it, a great mix of fractured fairy tale w/ the added multiple modern twists of detective drama & the best of "buddy cop" type shows w/ a pinch of suspense added in for good measure...The music is exceptional as well.
The series Grimm concluded April 2017, not without leaving one of the best television series I've seen in many years. Season 2 built on the storyline of season 1 with unique episodes about 'Weson', mythical creatures from the Grimm Fairy Tales and continuation of the story line of Juliette, the girlfriend of Nick, "the Grimm" being poisoned by a Hexenbiest, a witch-like weson. Nick by bloodline has the ability to see a weson for who their internal hidden creature is. Through his Black Forest Heritage has the responsibility to kill the bad weson. So all weson know the tales of the Grimm and taught to fear them. This season builds a relationship between Monroe and character Rosalee, both weson who befriend Nick in season 1 and the return of Nick's mother Kelly, also a Grimm. Each episode is well developed with excellent characters, actors and story line. Centered in Portland, Oregon, "Keeping Oregon Weird", was an excellent setting, and maybe, just maybe weson really do exist.Read full review

Great characters, with horror, humor and good looking guys! Characters are multifaceted, with quirks. Main character is shown struggling with both personal and professional problems. Does follow the villain a week format, but adds in myths, detective work and violence to create a great show. Have to see it to be addicted.

Oddly this show is alittle funny -alittle suspenseful- and alittle gory. It is 100% entertaining. It has been out for years but i never gave it a thought. I like cryptoids and realized that this show is based on unusual creatures of sorts and decided to give it a try. Every actor is perfectly chosen for their part, and believe me- you start to root for them and hope they do not get taken off the show. We watch one or two episodes every night and cant wait to set together the following night to catch up.
