Good value
Good quality
Heavy, but built quite well!
Here's Chinese turbos 101: #1: As soon as you take it out of the box, check the shaft play....but ALSO use feeler gauges and check the clearances between the the tips of the wheels and the housings. This one happened to be really good, but half of them aren't. However, it's really not that hard to get some thin shims for under the housing bolt bosses and shim it to make sure nothing will hit when you spool it...especially when it reaches operating temperature, especially on the exhaust side. You're probably going to have to clock your housings anyway, so you should already be doing this unless you're a total noob. #2 With any journal bearing turbo especially, I put a high pressure lube in the bearing housing containing ZDDP, MoS2, and Graphite in mineral oil to prelube the crap out of it. I also heat the center section of the turbo with a propane torch to allow the bearings to come up to proper clearances and use a hairdryer to slowly spin the turbo for a couple hours to work the lube into all the nooks an crannies. Remember, if you rebuild an engine, it ALSO has journal bearings on the crank, and you wouldn't expect your crankshaft to not heat up and seize without high pressure assembly lube, would you? Of course not; a journal bearing turbo is an even higher temp, higher surface speed environment, making this even MORE important! This is a NEW item...you don't rev the piss out of a new/rebuilt engine until it's broken in properly, so don't do it to a turbo and then complain when you blow it up either! #3 On ANY turbo, Use an inline oil filter with -AN in-out fittings to catch any crap before it makes its way into the turbo bearings. Just because you've watched the fast and the furious doesn't mean you understand JACK SHIT about building/tuning a damned thing. Do it right the first time, take proper precautions, measure twice, cut once, and read reviews written by adults. Thanks.

Inconsistent
Lots of play in the shafts of both turbos machining incomplete on one of the turbos. Idk if I would purchase again turbos also showed up a day late which I don't mind.... They use FedEx they kinda screw up alot. I definitely would like an exchange for the incorrectly machined turbo.

Great looking product
I right this review solely on appearance and not performance as of yet. Still in the process of building my car. The product seems to be very good casting and very similar to the top of the line chargers. There is minimal shaft play which is expected on journal bearing turbos. Overall great product so far

Best boost for the buck!
My stepfather built and tested turbos for Borgwarner/Schwitzer for over 25 years. I took this new turbo to him to check for any quality issues and he said it was a well built turbo for a very good price. I hope to be purchasing another one for another project soon.
