Remember what a big deal this movie was when it came out (an how hard it was to escape that theme song)? This is just a typical goofy Bill Murray / Dan Ackroyd flick. Decent pre-digital effects, funny sight gags, and lots of deadpan humor from everyman smart-ass Murray. Great casting, not just in the leads, but also in the secondary characters, with Annie Potts as the harried receptionist, William Atherton as the pretentious government lackey, and especially Rick Moranis as an uber-geek CPA turned into the "Keymaster of Gozer." The kids love this one, but very small children might be frightened by a couple of scenes. One complaint: although the DVD has lots of special features (including an Easter Egg or two) the top menu doesn't really tell you what you're navigating to in each submenu.
REALLY FUNNY; THE BREAK I NEED FROM AN UNREAL WORLD
FOLLOWING THE GHOSTS AROUND, WONDERING HOW TO RELATE TO THEM? TALK, NO, THEY ARE NOT NICE~~ HA...BUT, THE MAYOR MUST GET VOTES AT ANY COST, SO WE WILL RECOGNIZE THEM AND DO THEM IN; WHAT A BUSINESS! "80's Comedy Classic!"
Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Sigourney Weaver, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts and Rick Moranis star in Ivan Reitman's 1984 comedy. A group of scientists go into business as paranormal exterminators. I've liked this film since I was a kid and this dvd has good picture and sound plus cool extras. Get this 80's comedy classic.
