This CD was recorded live in 1976, long after founding members (and former Byrds) Gram Parsons, and Chris Hillman left the band. This CD contains a decent live show, featuring the lineup the recorded the Airborne album in 1976. Chris Ethridge had already left the band a second time by this point, leaving Sneaky Pete on pedal steel the only original member. But, it's still a good show, even with all the personnel changes. They perform songs from the 1969 debut album, through 1976's Airborne, and some classic country, and R & B covers. A nice addition for any Burrito Bros. fan, but probably not a good choice for a newcomer to the band. For someone new or curious about the band, I would recommend picking up the Hot Burrito's 1969 - 1972 2 CD anthology, or the Best of/Farther Along single disc compilation.Read full review
