Great vacuum - exactly as you would expect from a Dyson. Even though it was a refurb, it came with all the attachments and was even charged and ready to go straight from the box! The collection canister is small and with a German Shedder it fills up quickly, but since it's so easy empty, that's not a big deal at all. I was a little worried that I'd lose suction in the tradeoff for cordless, but with max suction, it was literally lifting the rug off the floor, so I'd say it has plenty of suction power. We have very little carpet so I love that it goes from carpet or rug to hard floor. However, because it's cordless, the weight is primarily at the top. This makes the leverage feel a little odd when using the "upright floor" extension, especially on the resistance of carpet, but that's a small price to pay for the convenience of cordless/portability. Works well, the only thing that did not meet our expectations was how quickly the battery dies and it needs recharging. After 5 hours of charging the battery was out in 10 minutes. If it weren't for that issue the vacuum otherwise performs really well and it's easy to use.

I've had this for about 3 weeks and it has worked perfectly, no issues. Love the price I paid. I finally have a cordless vacuum that has enough suction to be worthwhile and it even has that extra boost feature for very short duration, high suction vacuuming (6 minutes? on a full charge). Nice to have that once in awhile. Seems to be quieter than others I've owned as well. Also, a very clear upgrade from past vacuums I've had in the quality of the parts, the way they fit together, etc. Good purchase.

This vacuum is so much better than brand new, less expensive vacuums we have bought! Everything was packaged as if new, the manual was included and easy to follow, installation of the charging dock was simple, and it works great! I honestly think the charge lasts longer than advertised and we were able to vacuum our entire upstairs on one charge of the increased power setting. I wasn't surprised by the condition of this product, after all it came straight from Dyson. I am surprised by the performance. I have a corded Dyson Ball and wanted something for quick cleanups of my tile and hardwood floors. For that it works great. The low power, which gives 20+ minutes if run time, is more than enough suction power to keep my floors barefoot clean. I was really surprised how well it worked on my carpeted rooms and area rugs. It looks like I've used my corded Dyson Ball. The high power setting gives great suction but, very short run time, as expected. If you're purchasing this unit for tough jobs like stuck on spider webs and the dead bugs that go with them or other really stubborn "cling-on's" that need high suction, you'll be disappointed by the short run time. Stick with a corded model for those jobs. For quick clean ups and keeping your floors clean and debris free, you can't go wrong with the V7, especially at the refurbished price. Highly recommended! Never thought I'd own a Dyson and this refurbished one made that a reality. With it just being me and my husband and our 2 dogs in a brand new built home other than dog hair the amount of dirt we have is minimal and perfect for this size vac. We put it together and mounted it in about 5 mins. Charges fast and last about 30 mins. I tend to empty the bin before it gets full but the one time it got over full it cut itself off and I like that alot. I've ran over threads that other vacs would've gotten tangled around the brushes but not this one. The filters are easy to clean then let air dry and easily put back in. I love how lightweight it is, since I have back problems sometimes its a strain but not this one. Its quite and the 2 options for suction is so handy and easy to change. Did have to read the manual to learn how to empty dudt bin but once you learn its also easy. Its convenient to take apart to clean places like baseboards or anyplace up high since it does unattach. I can vacuum my entire home in less than 30 mins and it has yet to run out of charge. Love the mounting bracket for easy out of the way storage.
