Nice tool, but it could have been made better.
Excellent tool, powerful with variable speed and an easy to use attachment release mechanism, the only short coming I've found is it will only take Dremel brand attachments which cost considerably more than other brands and generics. An adapter is easily made, however a minor design change to the tool would have made this inconvenience unnecessary.

New Model
My Multi-Max stopped running and acted like it needed new brushes. Unfortunately, there are no user serviceable parts on this model. I started looking online and found replacement parts. I also saw this rebuilt unit for about 1/4 the price of a new model. I ordered it was surprised to see it had the new tool less head. You can change blade or tools without a wrench. It also worked better at cutting than my old model. In my opinion this was a great purchase.

For the price it's awesome. This is convenient to hold for my hand, not heavy though not too light. I just started using it and the performance is good, just right for my project at home. Hope this tool could last long.

I wore my first one out there were so many uses for it so used it daily. This new replacement is even better as no more hex wrench as this has an awesome system to change to another use with just a turn of a lever! Needless to say I will not ever be without one in my home! Love the sanding option too!
