Works well, and is convenient.

Replaced a Stihl gas powered trimmer with this item. So far, so good. Works well, with plenty of power. Did an hour's worth of trimming on the low setting with one battery, and still had a little charge left. Also, after reading several recommendations, I replaced the DeWalt trimmer head with a Husqvarna T-35 universal head. I discovered that when bumping this head for more line, more than necessary comes out, and I end up having to cut a little off each end so that the line doesn't tangle up with the guard. This is not really a game changer. I also clean the vent at the top of the motor of excess grass, so that it does not overheat. It is worth doing this compared to gas mixing and cord pulling. All in all, I am happy with this item and would recommend it. Battery power is the way to go for convenience.

Great product, short 9ah battery life.

Great product. Disappointing battery life. Read several reviews that made it seem like one 9ah battery lasted 1hr plus. Four of the ones I bought consistently lasted only 20 minutes each. Great for a trimming whip, not for mature field grass.

Better than my Stihl

Weighs less than my Stihl gas powered trimmer. I was hoping for a vibration free experience due to the brushless motor design, but that is not the case. It is however less than my current trimmer. Plenty of power when needed to cut down tall stocks of Johnson grass. Excellent throttle control. Rapid charging capable. Charge last longer than my 1/4 acre lot needs.
