Ryobi really did wonders with this caulking gun. This product is extremely easy to use, especially for DIY's or busy Mom's (like ME). It is not to heavy, fast but NOT messy, provides a consistent line of caulk without having to stop & re-adjust manually, saves time, cost effective, and highly recommended by a Mom like me due to all of the reasons above. The last reason that I recommend this gun is that I actually bought it not for myself but for my boyfriend, who is a General Contractor and he gives this a 5-star review. He has every Makita tool you can think of and uses them daily, but this Ryobi is a great time saver!

A bit of an extravagance, but l made good use fitting a large shower screen. Trigger is over sensitive, you have familiarise yourself. Easy to use one handed, but have a piece of tissue and an area of kitchen roll read for post use discharge, it drips like .... due to residual pressure on the tube. If you are fitting windows, or caulking base boards or facial, ideal, so I suppose it does what it says on the packet. Invest in kitchen roll take time to practice with it.

I have carpal tunnel and am building a short retaining wall, using 3m construction adhesive. By the time I'm finished I will have used at least 18 tubes of this stuff. A standard caulk gun would just kill me to use, this makes it so nice. It's very well built, variable speed and works with the rest of my Ryobi system. I've done gone through 4 tubes and my hand isn't killing me.

I purchased this product with the intent to repair my craftsman caulking gun. All the components were the same except the terminals that connect to the battery so I replaced them and put them in the craftsman housing and it works great and uses my battery so no extra charging unit required. Thanks.

This tool makes caulking even simpler than before with a knob on the side that slows and speeds up the compression stem for more or less caulk being applied.
