Professional size chainsaw brand new for $100?! Great deal. I've been cutting wood with a chainsaw since I was 10 years old. Started with a 12" Stihl and only use 20"+ since I was 14, and I was truly impressed. The switches are a little loose and feel like you better be careful when pushing them, but the meat of the saw, (engine, blade, bar, cutting ability) all of these things were quite impressive. It started smoking on me when I first used it, but it has been a long time since I bought a brand new saw (had my dad's Stihl 039 and 2x Jonsered 625 II for 20 years), and I forgot that the paint would smoke in the first couple of runs. There are no more smoking (or any other for that matter) issues after that, and I am loving it! Don't know how long she will last, but for now, she's running great and cutting like my dad's Stihl.Read full review

The holes in the chain bar in which the adjustment screw peg fits for adjusting the chain tension are not in the correct location and they are too small for the adjustment peg size. I had to relocate and drill new larger holes in the chain bar to accommodate the screw adjuster. I added 25:1 fuel and chain bar lube oil, primed it about 10 times, pulled the choke out. On the first pull it coughed, I pushed the choke in, pulled again and it started perfectly. I put axle grease through the small holes on either side of the spindle at the head end of the chain bar to lubricate the spindle. Note: there is not mention of the lubrication needs in the instructions. I cannot recommend it because of the machine shop modifications needed to make it work. After modification, it works fine. Chain brake is flimsy.Read full review

I bought the chain saw and it was the wrong size. It was suppose to be a 62 cc but the saw was not even big enough and the chain size was smaller than the 62cc size. It would not cut like my other saws which are 62cc and a 58 cc and hard to start. A friend of mine bought the saw to trim branches.
