Excellent G-Shock watch

I've done a lot of research looking for a G-Shock that was analog and digital. I've owned a digital G-Shock and loved it, but find my eyes are not able to always read the numbers - I'm getting older. So I set out to find an easy to read analog without my readers. This watch was the best value, met my requirements and also has the Compass and Temp - which are a great bonus - I really appreciate them. The Mud Resist I also something I'm very excited about. No regrets. I love the watch.

Looks like a Walmart clearance watch

The functionality of this watch is well covered in other reviews so I won't address that. It definitely lives up to the G-shock brand in terms of ruggedness and features. HOWEVER, this watch looks cheap! Seriously, I returned it solely because it looks like something I'd find for $12.99 on the Walmart jewelry clearance rack. Quite disappointed Casio would put this design out - especially at this price tier...

Great watch. I have owned a couple hard core kick butt watches and this is my new favorite!

Big but tough and not so big that it looks goofy. Compass seems to work good. Time keeps as it should. Band is comfortable and durable. I like it so much that I will buy a second when needed. I spend alot of time kayaking, camping, mountaineering, hiking, climbing, hunting... Get the point? If not, I need a watch to take a beating! This can, does and will.

One of the few "legible" Casio G-Shock analog watches

- Looks better in real life than on the pics! - Big & chunky - nice! - Legible big analog hands, even at a glance - Luminous hands glow in the dark, for a short time before the back-light is required - More than sufficient LED back-light, although digital windows are not being lit - Plenty features for the price - CON - The gap inserts between the case and strap, although comfortable to wear, does pull out ones arm-hairs when the watch is swiveled on the arm Very happy with the purchase, everything I wanted: Big analog G-Shock watch that is easy to read

An attractive, reliable, multifunction, comfortable watch that can take a beating.

The style of the Casio Master of G watch is perfect for the everyday wear. The fact that it is a G-Shock Master G tells you that it can take the punishment. It is 20 BAR water resistant, mud/dirt resistant, and highly shock resistant. It came packaged in the standard Casio tin and foam. Making the watch adjustments for my location was easy. It has the typical Casio ruggedness and is very light on the wrist. The watch band has the ability to adjust from the smallest to large wrists. The watch presents itself very well on the arm, but due to its thickness may not fit easy under long dress shirts. All of the controls are intuitive and easy to operate. The watch face has bold contrasting hour and minute hands as well as numeric markers which make it very easy to read, even at a quick glance (day or night). The watch band and angle which it comes off the watch make it very comfortable to wear. One button compass and thermometer modes are simple and accurate to use when trekking about. Having had other higher grade Casio's in the past, I will not hesitate recommending this watch to anyone, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
