Everything seems to work quite nicely with this camera. I'm enjoying its features and settings as well as still learning about them (there are many). The auto focus definitely works better than my older Canon camera (Powershot SX510) and I love the manual focus and flip screen, so I can finally see what I look like as I record video. The only downside I've discovered about this camera is its built-in microphone and preamp for processing sound. I get a slight hissing sound, which I've read Canon cameras are most known for (even though most cameras, regardless of brand, have a slight hissing background noise) Digital cameras are mainly designed for taking pictures and video, so audio recording is like an tertiary thought for the designers. For most things it's not bad or really noticeable. But if you really want better sound, you will need to buy an external microphone that can plug into this camera. That's what I did. I recommend you either buy the $60 Rode VideoMicro or an even cheaper microphone ($40) that basically looks the same and one which many consumers claim is actually better for a few reasons, which is the Movo VXR10. I bought the Movo, since it is 6db higher, because I have to turn down the sensitive gain in my camera to reduce as much hissing as possible (due to camera's preamp). Read full review

The 24 mm pancake with the t6i is amazing. Great bokeh for a small lens . 55-250 with built in stabilator so good.
