I bought it for "mi amiga" Maria so that she may read it to her toddler granddaughters. (Maria speaks english, but reads spanish.) This spanish edition of "Changes for Josifina" American Girl instills Hispanic/American pride, diffuses racial tension, yet celebrates cultural diversity. Being "read to" in spanish will strenthen bilingual skill, plus reading & (grandma's/de la abuela) love will become interfused & endure a lifetime as a result. This is an excellent book and highly collectable. Not just for Mexican National grandmas, but for everyone. I love it.
