I am very peticular about my coffee. There are 3 specific criteria my coffee must meet. It must not be bitter. It cannot be acidic and needs to taste good because I drink a lot of it. The Brazilian Yellow Bourbon Medium Roast from Blue Macaw Coffee Roasters in Brunswick GA supplies this bean and perform small batch roasting on each order. Not only does this bean meet all of my specific criteria, but Blue Macaw has provided me with order after order for well over 3 years now with consistent roasting each and every time. This bean is not acidic in any way. It has absolutely no bitter taste even if you add too much coffee to a brew and these qualities stay the same even if you warm up a cup in the afternoon from a morning brew. If you are a fan of Starbucks or supermarket brands, this coffee is not for you. If you enjoy your morning coffee until the pot is empty and decide later in the day or even before bedtime you would like another cup, this is bean and the roaster you are looking for. Blue Macaw sells whole bean but will grind your order if asked. I grind my own using a burr grinder to eliminate any extra heat a blade style grinder will produce. I use a Ninja Coffee maker which brews the grounds at the perfect temperature each and every time. Since I have started to buy this bean from Blue Macaw, I have introduced it to both my sisters who now will not buy another other brand and for the same reasons I drink it. The price of the coffee is a little more than you will spend on the average supermarket brand if you purchase 5 to 6 pounds at a time. Blue Macaw packages their coffee in 1 pound nitrogen purged bags and supply bendable bands to help you close each bag tightly to maintain the freshness. I use about a pound of coffee a week so lose of flavor has never been an issue. I honestly consider Brazilian Yellow Bourbon Peaberry coffee medium roast is the absolute best tasting coffee on the market and Blue Macaw Coffee Roasters are the best suppliers of that coffee. Brazilian Yellow Bourbon Peaberry Coffee Beans are 1% of the crop from Brazil, but 115% flavorful. My wife who prior was only a tea drinker exclusively raved about over the flavor. The fresh roasted day of shipment beans are 100% Arabica beans. A quality product worth any price, at bargain prices.. Not just the Brazilian Yellow Bourbon (a variety of coffee) and Jazz Bleu, all their coffees from the 100% Hawaiian Kona (Med and dark roast), Costa Rica, Indonesian (Papua New Guinea Peaberry coffee originated from Jamaica Blue Mt. Bali Blue Moon, etc.) Geisha Coffee from Columbia, Moka Java, are all winners. I am a repeat buyer and loyal customer.

This Brazilian Yellow Bourbon Coffee has been my favorite for some time now. We travel to Jamaica every January and really enjoy Blue Mountain BUT after tasting this coffee we have decided to no longer spend the money for Blue Mtn as Yellow Bourbon is in our opinion a perfect cup.

This is a great tasting coffee. Started a batch of cold brew. You know this coffee is freshly roasted due to degassing. Cold brew forces all the co2 instantly out of the beans. If not ready with fast hands esp cold brewing 1 gallon with 1 pound of beans, the co2 has to go somewhere fast. For sure sign the beans are freshly roasted and degassing. Very happy customer here.

I have been home roasting coffee for a few years now and this is one of my top picks. It has a great taste and blends well with other coffee. It roasts nice and even and I use it more than any other coffee. I don't roast dark and stop at second crack most of the time. I can't speak on how it roasts dark. I blend it with Kenya AA and Columbian Excelso. I am a fan of peaberry beans. I highly recommend the Yellow Bourbon Peaberry.
