Issues I had
Upon installing this raid controller and connecting it to my hard drives I noticed problems. The system logged continually I/O errors. First I thought I had a defective drives. After replacing them (which cost me money of course) I still got those I/O errors. I reinstalled my operating system with the newest drivers and tried again, still kept getting I/O errors. After much searching for an answer, I decided to update the card's firmware. That solved my problem. So if you receive this card and get the same issues I had, stop wasting your time and money and update the controller's firmware which you can find on the website of LSI
