I will never go back to free weight again.
Most say a dedicated lifter cannot get a good workout with this machine, actually it more the lifter than the machine, i have used home free weights, gym free weights, natural body weight, and then this machine, the bowflex pro 1000, i can say nothing to the negative about this machine, it can go as long as the lifter, it is very quiet, there is no metal clinging constantly, meaning if i cant sleep or workout early of the morning, it will not wake anyone in the house, it is upgradable to 310 easily, has enough exercises to work the entire body with a good imagination, can change resistance without picking up heavy weights and accidently dropping on toes, omg that hurts, can be used by either man or woman and even children, and is now days affordable, i am very happy with my purchase, and highly reccomend this machine to anyone.
Not sure just yet if it is the type of resistance or the amount of resistance being used, my joints are in zero pain during the use of this machine, free weights hurt so bad i quit exercising with them, this is painless to use, so far, i have maxed the power rods all 210 on bench press several reps and so far, no pain at all shoulders, elbows, etc.Read full review
