I needed a sturdy step ladder for interior painting, ceiling fan installation etc. I looked at big box stores and they offered a 3 step stool for more money. This is a solid product with nice size steps, and folds thin for EZ storage.

This ladder works well if you're a smaller, lighter person. But I'm 6'2" and weigh 260 lbs, and this thing can barely hold me. The metal is very thin and I can feel the steps flex when I stand on it. There is no way that it would hold 300 lbs, like the ad claims. The other gripe I have is while there is a safety latch to keep the ladder open (once the ladder is fully opened, you have to undo the latch to close the ladder), the latch does not hold the ladder closed when your storing it. The result is the legs swing freely when you pick it up and move it, and I've pinched my fingers a few times. Having said all that, I paid $38 for this 4-step ladder, which is cheaper than what I'd pay at Home Depot or Lowes. The quality of this ladder isn't nearly as good as ones from those stores, but it's also half the price. In other words, you get what you pay for. If you weigh less than 200 lbs and want a cheap ladder, you can buy this and will probably be satisfied. If you're looking for quality, then not so much.Read full review

Quite surprised how sturdy and easy to set up. Looking at pictures is deceiving. Would highly recommend this step ladder to big guys like me.

Awesome ladder. The best, most comfortable ladder I`ve ever used. Feet never hurt with these wide steps. Very sturdy, built rugged. LOVE IT!
