Blurry Composite Video

VGA pass-through looks good, although slightly darker but a few adjustments to the monitor fixes that. The big issue is that the composite video is not nearly as sharp as it should be. I have a CRT VGA monitor and next to it is a CRT television. The reason I wanted this device was to eliminate the need for the television when using classic computers such as the Commodore 64, Texas Instruments 99/4A and others that output composite (to the TV). However the composite video going through this device and to the VGA monitor was not nearly as sharp and I decided to go back to my original set-up, this rendering this device useless. I could potentially get better picture quality from the C64 using S-Video but even if I had the cable to try that that still wouldn't help me with other systems where S-Video isn't an option. It might be okay for watching tv shows or movies where the softer image is less noticeable..
