I was running an Asus 1070 Ti, with the factory "blower" style fan, and it was getting close to 80 degrees C, with a moderate overclock, and gaming at max settings at 4k resolution. The factory blower fan was super loud when gaming. I installed this Arctic Accelero Xtreme IV cooler, and now I'm seeing max 50 degrees C, under the same overclock and gaming conditions. The installation is a bit time consuming, but if you are good at that type of thing, it's relatively easy. I will say that the cooler itself is fairly large, so make sure it'll fit both length and width where you want it to go inside your computer, before you start taking everything apart.

If you bought a GPU with a bad cooler design, this is what you need. This thing can cool just about anything as long as it fits.

I can confirm that it fits to the R9-390x. From reference cooler (94c) to this cooler (60c) at full Load! Very quiet in open Bench.. It's is a great cooler!! 3 FANS cools all VRM and Power Phases. No more GPU throttling. Recommended for all and of course I'll buy another one if I need.

Brought temps from 90c under load to 57c under load. I'd say it works. Assembly is a tad difficult, but lay everything out and read the instructions. You'll be done in an hour and thanking yourself.

Use this on an r9 390 that is gaming/mining at 1160mhz/1625mhz. Stays at 62C while gaming and 66C while mining. Crazy good value for people who have had their stock cooler go out (like me).
