Got it on sale for 20 bucks, and with eBay coupon a $50 SSD became $13. Used it to swap an old 52k RPM WD Blue in a laptop, and after a drive copy, seems to be working just fine. Apps are loading faster, system seems more responsive, typical SSD I/O-OP goodness. Only question is what form of NAND Flash it uses. It advertises 3D NAND, but that doesn't really say much about quality. My guess (based on a few google searches) is it's probably TLC, which is notably less reliable than SLC or MLC. Granted, it's not going to be used in any form of data-center infrastructure or something. The most daily use I'll get out of it is opening google chrome or zoom for work for a few hours, then back in the bag it goes.

I got this brand new in packing and put it in my computer expecting to install windows and get running. The drive wasn't recognized on POST or in the bios. I thought maybe it had to be formatted first so I hooked it up to my laptop, I used three different HDD connections and got nothing. I tried two other drives with each of the connections and all my cables were working. So I got a DOA drive that was a useless paperweight. I snapped it in half and threw it away.

I purchased the ADATA Ultimate Series: SU650 120 gb to use as a boot drive and for applications like Web browsers, game clients like steam and epic games, etc. The speed these apps open is unbelievable compare to a regular hard drive. I don't know about game loading times but the responsiveness to opening apps and booting your pc is pretty fast even in my old Dell Optiplex 980 I5 2400.Honestly, I can't tell the difference in the speed of my i5 2400 and my i5 8400 with these ssd. Best put, if you have a older pc (or any pc with a regular hard drive) that's running a tad bit slow, this ssd with a clean install of windows will make your system fast than when you first got it. Thanks

this worked, it partitioned and formatted with windows 7 in a ibm machine but the intended use was in a dell running win 10. even thought the drive did post in the bios on the dell, win 10 would not recognize the drive. after downloading and arduously registering to use the disk copy program it only worked while running my original drive and designated it drive x which let me access the drive but would not boot from it when i set it as the primary drive. i spent 4 hours with this drive which never worked for its intended purpose. by contrast i bought another brand name and did a clean install in under 30 minutes
