It's all in the little details...
I don't typically write reviews upon receipt of a product, but I think the shipping, packaging, and instructions on how to assemble this unit warrant comment. Keeping in mind, that I know zero about vacuum degassing or pumps, this will be my first experience. The assembly instructions came written in clear, concise and legible English which were easy to follow. Clearly it's not rocket science, but it was nice having the language and ensuing photos to follow for the initial set up. It was shipped promptly upon ordering, and despite suffering some abuse in transit, was packed well enough that nothing inside either box was damaged. They shipped extra parts (O rings, washers, and lugs) for the lid as well as the initial start up bottle of oil for the pump. The handles of the pot were packed with bubble wrap, the lid was secured with bubble wrap, and so on. If the motor dies in a month or six months, I may be back to edit this review, but so far, I'm pleased with the level of professionalism I've received. Thank you!
