Low cost, easy to use if you know how to use an Arduino and 433Mhz receiver

These are simple 433Mhz sensors with a good strong signal. They send a unique code for each device repeating either an open or closed code. I used 2 of them on 2 different doors. I setup a remote chime which had different sounds and frequency depending on which door was either opened or closed. I decoded the signal using an Arduino with a 433Mhz receiver. Then used a Arduino Pro Mini, 433Mhz receiver, and a chime in a small portable box. I could place the box anywhere in the house. Price is cheap, easy to use and the battery will last a very long time.
